To insert an image into the body of one of your message posts, you'll need the URL (www.website.com/photoname.jpg) of the photo.
Normally you can get this by right-clicking on the photo on a website and looking at it's properties for the actual location (URL address of the photo).
Copy this address and then, when you create a new post, look at the small buttons at the top of the posting area.
Click on the "Img" button (near the upper right) or manually type in [img], then paste the photo's URL address and then click on the Img button again to add the closing tag.
So, the finished product should look like this:
And that's all there is to it!
**Note: If you're typing up a post and then go back to insert the photo tag after you've typed your message, the messageboard will erroneously place the closing "[/img]" tag to the end of the last word in your post instead of the end of the the URL you are typing in.
In this case, you'll just have to enter the tag manually as illustrated earlier. Good luck! |
