According to this passage, should children and/or adults who are not saved and have a relationship with Christ take communion?
Anyone??????? _________________ Livin My Life Like It's Gold'n |

According to the bible unless you are born again you do not have a relationship with Christ. To take communion as an unbeliever is not the question in these passages for is is speaking only to believers. The judgments to come upon those as being "unworthy" are temporal chastisements to the the children of God walking in a un-Christlike manner. _________________ Psalms 40:1-2

out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

This passage of scripture does not give an unsaved person a right of passage for the LORD's Supper. Salvation is the ONLY thing that allows for such. Anyone taking communion without being saved is mocking GOD. _________________ Be blessed, speak blessed....

Thank you all for ur responses.
I have another question. What about people with disabilites, people who cannot fully comprehend having a relationship with God, are they excused from communion with God? Is there a special grace for them because of their condition?
Is there scripture support for this topic? I ask cuz I believe children and the unsaved should not partake in communion according to the scripture quoted in this post and I asked that question in my church's bible study and the pastor said he doesn't see anything wrong cuz he allows kids to partake, and asked the question about people with disabilities.

The problem here is that the Church today practically condones people being unwell. In scripture, the disabled were HEALED! we live in a day and age where people challenge everything essential for Ministry all because they doubt the existence of it presently:
-Female Ministers
-Prosperity Teachers/Teachings
-Healings
-Miracles
People doubt it, then its the very Teachers against it that end up seeking it! So, for the disabled, I recommend the power of healing and restoration first and foremost. _________________ Be blessed, speak blessed....
