But what does that mean exactly or should I say what does that entail?

I read several articles about relationships and communication between black men and black women. I came across a few articles that vaguely try to explain why black men date outside their race and others that talk about their issues with black women.

In almost all of the articles I read, the resounding words 'black women will not allow a black man to be the man' keeps poppin up. So ask my brothers, what do you mean and what does being 'the man' entail?
